Dustin Owen

Dustin Owen joined the mortgage industry in 2004 as a Rookie LO. Within two years he was funding 100+ units per year. Owen leveraged his success as an originator into sales management where we grew his production team from one branch funding $40 million a year to seven branches funding $70 million per month.

Dustin is the creator and host of The Loan Officer Podcast. With over 1 million downloads per year, it is the #1 podcast for mortgage originators and their clients. Owen is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and a 2022 graduate from the MBA’s Future Leaders Program. In 2024, Dustin launched the TLOP MLO Coaching Community where their mission is to help shape the future of the mortgage industry one originator at a time. Outside of work, Dustin enjoys traveling and competing in Ironman races. He is a University of Central Florida alum and die-hard UCF football fan

David Favret

David Favret is a highly accomplished and respected Real Estate Managing Broker with nearly two decades of experience and an unwavering passion for the industry.

Through the years, David has established himself as a trusted leader and expert in the Greater New Orleans market. After working in the hospitality industry for 20 years and operating his own restaurant, David began his real estate journey as an agent servicing clients’ immediate needs following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He quickly rose through the ranks in the industry, gaining valuable experience in various roles within the field.

David’s exceptional work ethic, dedication, and natural collaborative demeanor set him above his peers. He credits the skill set he acquired in the hospitality sector for his success as an agent. David believes the key to success is concentrating on taking care of people with a servant’s heart. He has achieved notable accomplishments throughout his career, including accolades such as the past President of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and currently, he serves as Regional Vice President and Secretary Treasurer Elect of Louisiana Realtors, and a member of the Professional Standards committee of the National Association of Realtors.

As a Managing Broker, David has successfully led and mentored teams of real estate professionals, guiding them to achieve their goals and exceed client expectations. He possesses a deep understanding of New Orleans, market trends, local regulations, and industry best practices, enabling him to provide valuable insights to his team members. David fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, emphasizing the importance of professional development. He believes in the importance of continuous learning and actively seeks opportunities to enhance his knowledge and skills by attending various conferences, seminars, workshops and training to stay ahead of the curve.

Beyond his role as a Managing Broker, David is an active steward of the New Orleans community. He believes in the importance of sharing his time and resources with charitable organizations within the city. He previously taught classes with the Friends of the Cabildo, a support organization for the Louisiana State Museum, and served as a committee member for Preservation Resource Center, an organization committed to the preservation of New Orleans? unique neighborhoods, as well as, the Human Rights Campaign. When David is not working as an incredible leader as Managing Broker or giving back to the community, he enjoys being a tourist in his hometown of New Orleans, spending time with family and friends.

Jack Bourlas

As a strategic and customer-focused sales and marketing executive, I draw from many years of experience leveraging credit data and analytics into actionable, acquisition/retention lending strategies for Banks, Credit Unions and Non-Bank Mortgage lenders.

Prior to joining Xactus my experience includes roles in accounting / finance, product and sales leadership for Dun & Bradstreet, The Walt Disney Corporation, Jive Records and Comcast. Following his sales passion, Jack joined The Data Warehouse corporation in 2002 and maintained his role selling through its many naming conventions including Tranzact Information Systems, Datamyx and the most recent acquisition of Datamyx by the Deluxe Corporation in 2015.

Originally from New York City, I now reside in Boca Raton, Florida with wife Jill, a medical biller and two children; Emily who is a Nursing student at the University of Florida and Josh, a recent FSU grad and recent career start as RN.

My wife and I both enjoy family time, the great outdoors, camping, hiking, biking and swimming oceans and lakes, no gators though. I have a major passion for music and attend as many live shows as possible in almost every genre. Over the years I have participated in various community events such as Comcast Cares Day and Deluxe Cares.

Amanda McCombs

Amanda has been with Usherpa for over 10 years. She is currently the Director of Client Operations & Analysis. In addition to her wealth of knowledge about the system itself, she is a common point person for LO coaching and strategy within the CRM. She is also known as Usherpa’s resident ‘data nerd’. In her free time she loves stand-up comedy, trivia and word games, 90s hip-hop, and making bad puns with her hilarious 10 year old daughter, Nova.
