Don Clement: My two passions - credit and mortgages – have led me to my current position of AVP of Strategic Partnerships at CIC Credit, a leader in mortgage information services.

With more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I have extensive knowledge on credit scores and keep current on mortgage regulations so I can assist our customers with helpful solutions. You will often find me sharing my credit score expertise through speaking at local lenders’ offices and industry seminars.

Patricia (Patty) Finn, a Senior Account Executive at CIC Credit, brings more than 30 years of industry experience. Having previously established her own credit reporting agency, Patty focuses on leveraging her extensive expertise to build strong client relationships, deliver outstanding customer service, and generate substantial value for clients.

Usherpa

A long time ago (1995 to be exact) our founder Dan Harrington was a Loan Officer who had been originating loans for 5 years, was burned out. Every month was the same old grind: chasing deals, get them closed, rinse and repeat. He knew life would be much better if he was getting more referrals and more repeat business. The problem was how could he get those repeat and refer deals?

The answer hit him one night: he needed to stay connected with his closed clients so they would remember to refer him and come back when they needed a mortgage. Also, he needed to give his Realtors information they could use to help them sell homes, so they’d think of him when referring buyers.

Dan armed himself with a fax machine (!) and a canned direct mail newsletter to clients. It worked and other LO’s noticed. And Usherpa was born.

Now Usherpa is armed with the industry’s most sophisticated, cloud-based CRM/Marketing Automation system. We call it Relationship Engagement and we’ve helped thousands of Loan Officers stay connected with partners and clients. David Shoptaw is a seasoned mortgage industry professional with over 35 years of experience, including more than 20 years at Arch Mortgage Insurance. Throughout his career, David has built a reputation for expertise and commitment in the mortgage insurance sector. He has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the industry, leveraging his deep understanding of mortgage products and client needs.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, David is a dedicated family man, married for 32 years to his wife, Pam, and proud father of two sons, Brenden and Bennett. An avid cyclist, David enjoys spending his free time on outdoor rides, staying active and engaged with his passion for cycling.

National Mortgage Insurance

Jason Stimack has been an Account Manager for National MI for the past three years and is responsible for the states of LA and AR. His success in both states has resulted in National MI more than doubling the company’s insured volume in the last two years. Jason brings over 10 years of Real Estate experience including positions in Real Estate Development and Investment, Title, and as a successful licensed Real Estate Agent in Louisiana. Jason also holds his Louisiana State Insurance License. Prior to joining National MI he worked for Delta Title Corp. in Business Development. Jason is originally from the Northern California wine country and moved to Louisiana to attend Tulane University where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Law and Marketing. He has since made his home in New Orleans. In his free time, he enjoys trying new recipes and traveling as much as possible. Kristie Goings Account Manager with Genworth (Now Enact MI) As your Account Manager, I assist in the South Central Region supporting lenders with mortgage insurance needs. I have been with Genworth (Now Enact MI) for 5 years and have a total of 23 years in the Mortgage Banking Industry including Wholesale and Retail. Extensive experience in business development, relationship building, and Product/Program training. Completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with Minor in Management from Southeastern University. My goals are to continue building relationships to help families with their dreams of homeownership.

Essent Guaranty

Ashley serves as Account Manager with Essent Guaranty where she specializes in helping Loan Officers and Borrowers with their Mortgage Insurance needs. Ashley proudly achieved the AMP designation through the National Mortgage Bankers Association and is deeply engaged in and committed to the industry that she serves. Ashley holds a seat on the Leadership Committee of the Greater New Orleans Mortgage Lenders Association where she is completing her 7th year on the Board and is now preparing to serve as President of the newly rebranded Louisiana Mortgage Bankers Association for the 2025-2026 term. Her passion lies in adding value for her clients not only with their mortgage insurance needs but also by leveraging her extensive expertise in relationship building, connecting people, strategic planning, and business development.

Outside of her mortgage career, Ashley resides in Baton Rouge with her husband Kevin and their two small children, Stella and Graham. They enjoy traveling and making core family memories together.
